Beyond our beautiful main campus, Frostburg State University offers academic programs at colleges and educational centers throughout the region. These sites enable our students to earn a quality FSU bachelor’s degree without leaving home.

University System of Maryland at Hagerstown

Frostburg State University offers several upper-level undergraduate and graduate programs at the University System of Maryland at Hagerstown, Md., covering business, education and liberal arts & sciences. Students can earn a bachelor’s degree from FSU entirely on USMH’s campus. Many courses are scheduled to accommodate the busy lives of working students and parents.

Allegany College of Maryland

FSU has partnered with Allegany College of Maryland to bring unique learning experiences to our Recreation & Parks Management’s concentration in Hospitality Management & Tourism. Students gain an in-depth education in programming and leadership at FSU, then put their skills to the test with ACM’s Hotel/Motel Management resources. Enrollment goes both ways – you can begin at ACM and later transfer to Frostburg, or you can start at FSU and “reverse articulate” to earn an additional associate’s degree from ACM.

This program is available at ACM’s main campus in Cumberland, Md.

Anne Arundel Community College

Anne Arundel Community College hosts FSU’s bachelor of science in Engineering program with a concentration in electrical engineering. The program is open to community college graduates who have completed an A.S. or A.S.E. degree in Engineering. Students benefit from AACC’s hands-on style and modern facilities while learning from highly qualified FSU professors through interactive video and online lessons.

AACC’s FSU program is located at the Arundel Mills Regional Higher Education Center in Hanover, Md., southwest of Baltimore.

B.S. in Engineeringg - EE, Electrical Engineering Concentration

 

Cecil College

FSU offers a bachelor of science in Engineering degree with a materials engineering concentration at Cecil College, located in North East, Md. This program is designed for community college graduates who have completed an A.S. or A.S.E. degree in Engineering. FSU facilitates enrollment into the program for graduates of both Cecil College and Harford Community College.

Cecil College’s North East campus is located at the head of the Chesapeake Bay, 50 miles from Baltimore and Philadelphia.

Garrett College

Frostburg State University and Garrett College offer a collaborative “two plus two” program in Adventure Sports Management. This innovative program combines FSU’s strong curriculum and academic resources with the experiential opportunities available through Garrett’s two-year program at the Adventuresports Institute. Students can enroll at Garrett and later transfer to FSU, or they can enroll at Frostburg, taking some courses at nearby Garrett College, and later “reverse articulate” to earn an additional associate’s degree from Garrett College.

Garrett College is located in McHenry, Md.
